Please read the following instructions carefully; you must answer comprehension questions correctly to proceed with this study.
Compensation Details
Performance-based payments:
For each question, you can earn up to $0.50. Selecting all correct options earns the full $0.50. Selecting only some of the correct options earns you a partial reward. For example, if a question has two correct options and you select only one, you earn $0.50 × (1/2) = $0.25. Selecting any incorrect options results in zero payment for that question.
If you answer all questions correctly, you can earn $4.
Bonus:
Your supervisor will evaluate your performance based on two criteria: problem-solving results (number of correct answers) and help-seeking behaviors (whether you seek help, frequency, and communication strategy). Note that if you seek help from AI, the supervisor will not be aware, and it will appear as if you answered independently.
Time Constraint
You have 30 seconds to review each question and make help-seeking choice and 15 seconds to answer each question. Submissions beyond the time limit will not be considered.
Survey Rules
You can complete the survey independently or seek help from the supervisor or the "build-in" AI in this survey. Using the internet or other external AI tools will forfeit your payment.
