The Ministry of Public Affairs is responsible for preparing and implementing government policy related to transport and infrastructure, and regional development. The Ministry has two directorate generals: the Directorate General of Transport and Infrastructure and the Directorate General of Regional Development. The Directorate General of Regional Development coordinates four regional offices: South, West, East, and North.

You have been performing well for more than 10 years under the Directorate General of Regional Development, which resulted in your promotion to head official.
As part of the ministerial policy, before another assignment in other regions, a head official will spend a year in Directorate General Office. During your placement in the Directorate General Office, The Minister of Public Affairs announces an open tender for lucrative construction project. This big project will be divided into smaller construction and procurement contracts that will be handled by the head officials assigned in different regions.
