                          J U D G M E N T

Ext.P1 is an application preferred by the petitioner before the second respondent for consent to operate the industrial unit referred to in the writ petition under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, when this matter was taken up for admission, is for a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P1 application within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the  W.P.(c).No.33631 of 2017 : 2 : petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P1 application, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
