                        ORDER

The respondent filed a private complaint against the petitioners in C.C.No.667/2005 for the offence punishable under Section 49 of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.

2. Before the Trial Court, the petitioners entered appearance and filed an application under Section 245 of 3 Cr.P.C for discharge. Even after several years, the Trial Court has not considered the application. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. In the circumstances, the Trial Court is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioners on 28.05.2008 under Section 245 of Cr.P.C if the same is not yet considered as expeditiously as possible and in any event not later than six weeks for the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the petition is hereby disposed of.
