This petition for writ is preferred to challenge an order dated 17.01.2020 passed on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board.

Such an order is appealable under Section 31 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (hereinafter referred to as "Act, 1981").

In the case in hand, we do not find any just reason to deviate from the general principle to approach writ Court only after exhausting all alternative remedies.

In view of it, this petition for writ is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedy given under the Act, 1981.
