COMMON ORDER :(Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan)


         These two writ petitions relate to the same establishment.


         The report of the Pollution Control Board is on record. This shows that

respondent Nos.7 and 8 in W.P.No.45218 of 2017 have complied with the

requirements in conformity with the directions of the Board in furtherance of the order dated 06.02.2008. We record that statement of facts and direct that it shall be so maintained. The Board will continue to maintain vigilance and due scrutiny of the establishments of respondent Nos.7 and 8 as enjoined by law.

The Board takes note of the compliance reported by respondent Nos.7 and 8 and issues further directions under Sections 31A and 33 of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, respectively, within one week from today. The compliance of the directions contained in the interim order, dated 06.02.2018, will thereafter be regulated by the decision so rendered by the Board.

The Writ Petitions are ordered accordingly. No order as to costs. 2 As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Applications, if any, pending in these Writ Petitions stand closed.
