learned counsel for the State, who opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 379 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 2(A), 31A, 37 of the Air Pollution Control Act, Section 54 of Minor Mineral Concessions Rule and Section 8/9 of J.M.S. Act.
The petitioner is the owner of a crusher, which was illegally run by him without obtaining 'No Objection Certificate' from Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board. It is also alleged that the petitioner was using illegally mined stones in his crusher.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is in custody since 08.04.2018.
Taking into consideration the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, petitioner namely, Arvind Singh @ Arvind Kumar Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No. 52 of 2018 [G.R. No. 2038/2018].
