In these writ petitions, petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to initiate legal action pursuant to the notice issued by them on 25.07.2013 - Annexure-G.
2. Petitioners contend that they gave representation as per Annexure-F dated 06.07.2013 to the 2nd respondent to take action against respondent Nos.3 to 6. Acting on the representation of the petitioners, the 2nd respondent issued notice as per Annexure-G dated 25.07.2013 to respondent Nos.3 to 6 to show cause as to why action shall not be taken for :4: violation of provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 2nd respondent has not taken further action pursuant to Annexure-G. If that is so, liberty is reserved to the petitioners to approach the 2nd respondent with an appropriate representation. In that event, the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are hereby disposed of without reference to the respondents.
