Suppose that all 3 participants chose to trade this period. Thus, everyone earns 29*2 = 58 points from their trades. In addition, there is the issue of the bonus.

  1. Suppose everyone has voted YES.

-  The two blue players earn 0 bonus. Hence, their total earnings for the period are 58 points.

- The red player earns a bonus of 100 points, so their total earnings for the period are 58 + 100 =158 points.

  1. Suppose everyone has voted NO. Here the bonus would have been 100 points in total, but in this case the bonus is reduced by 50%, to 50 points. These points are then randomly assigned to one of the participants who voted “NO”. Hence,

·       If you voted NO, then your total earnings for the period would be 58 points from trade and only one of the participants who voted “NO” will earn the 50 points from the reduced bonus.
