Example: Suppose that all 3 participants chose to trade this period. Thus, everyone earns 29*2 = 58 points from their trades. In addition, there is the issue of the bonus.

  1. Suppose the decision-maker chose YES.

·       The two blue players earn 0 bonus. Hence, their total earnings for the period are 58 points.

·       The red player earns a bonus of 100 points, so their total earnings for the period are 58 + 100 =158 points.

  1. Suppose the decision-maker chose NO. Here the bonus would have been 100 points in total, but in this case the bonus is reduced by 50%, to 50 points. These points are then assigned to the decision-maker. Hence,

·       Your total earnings for the period would be 58 points from trade and, if you are the decision-maker, then you will also earn 50 points from the reduced bonus.
