To improve the effectiveness of the performance evaluation process, LLO’s executives have implemented a suggested distribution. They want each business unit to have a minimum of 10% of employees in the Below Expectations category, 80% of employees in the Meets Expectations category, and a maximum of 10% of employees in the Exceeds Expectations category. Each business unit is composed of 1 director and 2 managers.
As described later, both managers and the director receive a bonus if the distribution of all employees in the business unit meets the suggested distribution.
