At the end of each year, LLO evaluates the performance of its employees. This process involves each manager placing each of their 5 employees into one of three performance categories: <i>Below Expectations</i>, <i>Meets Expectations</i>, or <i>Exceeds Expectations</i>. 
</p>
<p>
Employees rated <i>Below Expectations</i> are placed on a performance improvement plan and receive no pay increase. Employees rated <i>Meets Expectations</i> receive a modest pay increase. Employees rated <i>Exceeds Expectations</i> receive the largest pay increase.
