Thank you for participating in this study. Today's session will take approximately 30 minutes.
</p>
<p>
<b>Please read the following instructions carefully.</b> You will be required to answer a series of short quiz questions to demonstrate that you understand the instructions before proceeding to the study, so please pay close attention. 
</p>
<p>
You will earn money based on the actions and decisions you and others make during the study. The monetary amounts stated in the study are in terms of points, which will be converted into cash at the rate of $1 per 50 points. You will receive your cash compensation at the end of today's session.
</p>
<p>
The decisions you make will be anonymous and kept strictly confidential. Any record of your decisions will be tied to your participant number only, and your name is not connected to your participant number. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project.
</p>
<p>
Please do not communicate with anyone other than the administrator throughout today's session. If you have any questions, please raise your hand and the administrator will come to you and answer your question privately.
</p>
