In this study, you will act as either a worker or a manager in Charly’s Inc. Both managers and workers receive the same set of instructions. Today’s experiment consists of two parts, which will be independent of each other. Whether you are a worker or a manager will be randomly determined after you finish reading the instructions of Part 2. Once your role is assigned, you will remain in that role throughout the experiment.

Your earnings from this experiment will be calculated in “dimra” (an experimental currency) during the experiment and will be converted into dollars at the rate of 20 dimra = $1. Your total earnings from the two parts and your participation fee will be paid to you through prolific account after your submission is approved. Following the instructions, you will take a short quiz to confirm your understanding. Please note, your earnings will be zero if you choose to exit before the end of the study.
