We are halfway through Part 3. While we will continue with the other 15 rounds, there will be one alteration to the procedure. The computer has tabulated each person's earnings from the quiz in Part 1. It will now use those earnings to rank everyone in this room. The highest earner will get a rank of 1. The second highest will get a rank of 2. This will continue until the lowest earner, who will get a rank of 10. In the event of a tie the computer will randomly break the tie each round. The computer will use these rankings to randomly assign player numbers following the below procedure.

This is done at the start of each round so your participant number can still change from round to round. Note the computer will not include any other information when setting the order. Like before, the person assigned player 1 will go first. Player 2 will go second. This continues all the way to player 10. You will not know the earnings of anyone else other than what the rankings indicate above. This alteration is reflected in the experiment instructions below.

Before we continue are there any questions?
