        In part 1, given the historical price chart that you just saw, your task is to decide whether you want to buy or short sell the stock.
        <b>You can get up to 3200 points in this part.</b> The maximum payment in part 1 will be <b>4 times higher than</b> the maximum payment in part 2.

        <font style="font-size:20px"> <b>You are endowed with 3200 points. But it is possible that you will lose all the endowment
        depending on the price of the stock on day 240 and your decision on whether you buy or short sell the stock.
        The price on day 240 can be either higher or lower than 3200 points.</b></font>

    <p>
        As previously mentioned, at the end of the experiment the computer will randomly select only one part.
        If this part is selected, you will be paid as follows:
    </p>
    <p>
        If you <b>buy</b> the stock,
            <ul>
                <li>you will <b>not lose</b> anything if the price on day 240 was <b>higher than</b> 3200 points.</li>
                <li>you will <b>lose your 3200-point endowment</b> if the price on day 240 was <b>lower than</b> 3200 points.</li>
            </ul>
    </p>
    <p>
        If you <b>short sell</b> the stock,
            <ul>
                <li>you will <b>not lose</b> anything if the price on day 240 was <b>lower than</b> 3200 points.</li>
                <li>you will <b>lose your 3200-point endowment</b> if the price on day 240 was <b>higher than</b> 3200 points.</li>
            </ul>
