Hello, everyone. Thank you for participating in this experiment! This experiment aims to help government formulate better tax policies and encourage people's motivation to contribute to public goods.

This experiment has 8 rounds and each round corresponds to one treatment. You will participate all the eight treatments to better understand the whole experimental design. But in real experiment, you will only participate one experiment to eliminate the order effect and within error. You should take about 15 minutes to complete the experiment.

You will get payoff in this online experiment and the Payoff Rule is:
payoff = endowment - contribution + 2 * (contribution from all people in the group) / (number of people in the group)
Ten points equal to $1, so your final payoff = payoff / 10

Example
If your initial endowment is 12, the tax is 2, your contribution to all the charities is 3, there are 3 people in the group, and the contribution from all the people include you is 12, then your payoff is (12-2-3)+2*12/3=15.
Ten points equal to $1, so you final payoff is $1.5.

More detailed experimental information will be provided in the following interface. Are you ready?
