You must choose between High or Low, which corresponds to payoffs for you and for the passive player. </br> </br>

There is a 50% chance that you are in Situation 1 and a 50% chance that you are in Situation 2.
After choosing between High and Low you will be informed whether you are in Situation 1 or 2.</br> </br>

Both situations are the same except that the passive player's payoffs are flipped between the two situations. In particular: </br> </br>
<ul>
    <li> <b> You </b> will receive <b> <font color = red> 60p </font> </b> if you choose <b> High </b> </li>
    <li> <b> You </b> will receive <b> <font color = blue> 50p </font> </b> if you choose <b> Low </b> </li>
    <li> <b> The passive player </b> will receive <b> <font color = green> 10p </font> </b> if you choose
        <b> High </b> in <b>Situation 1</b> or <b>Low</b> in <b> Situation 2 </b>.</li>
    <li> <b> The passive player </b> will receive <b> <font color = blue> 50p </font> </b> if you choose
        <b> Low </b> in <b>Situation 1</b> or <b> High </b> in <b> Situation 2</b>.</li>
</ul>

Put differently, according to whether you are in Situation 1 or Situation 2 and
whether you choose High or Low, the payoffs for you and the passive player can be described as follows:

        whether you are in Situation 1 or in Situation 2 and the payoffs to the passive player
        if you choose High or Low will be known to you. After this information
        is revealed, you choose between High and Low. </li>
