Each of you are presented with the same decision. Imagine you are two individuals. You are taking part in a car race to prove which of you is braver: you head towards each other; whoever drives the longer distance wins and will earn the respect of your other friends; whoever swerves (moves aside) first will look like a chicken. If you both swerve before you get to the clash, you will both make a bad impression; if you both continue to the clash without stopping, you will die.
The decision is summarised in the following table. In the table you will find numbers: these indicate your level of utility, depending on your decision and that of the other player associated with you.
