        As noted earlier, multiple people are making similar decision as you. Some people’s decisions will be selected and shown to real people acting as the worker in the labor market. If your decisions are selected to be shown to workers, then you will have the chance to earn additional compensation based on the outcomes of the labor market. If your decisions are not selected to be shown to workers, then you will only receive $4 for successfully completing this study.

        If your decisions are selected to be shown to workers, your payoffs from the labor market will be determined after workers have made their decisions. These payoffs will be converted to a cash payment. The participant (or participants, if tied) who earns the most Lira will receive an additional cash payment of $2 USD. The participant (or participants, if tied) who earns the least Lira will not receive any additional cash payment (that is, they will receive an additional cash payment of $0 USD). Everyone else will receive something between $0 and $2, depending on the number of Lira earned, to result in an expected average additional compensation of $1.
