{{ extends 'global/Page.html' }} {{ block title }}Welcome to the experiment on Improvisation!{{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

This is a study conducted by the Humanities and Social Sciences department of California Institute of Technology. Through this experiment, we hope to study how people improvise in a social setting.

You will be paired up with another participant to generate impromptu stories by taking turns, adding one sentence at a time.

It's a short task lasting about 25 minutes, so we don't expect any great stories. We are more interested on how people improvise on-the-spot.

The study is anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information identifying you in the stories

This task needs to be done in one sitting about 25 minutes. If you drop out midway, your partner will be affected.

Earnings:
  • Average task time: 25 minutes
  • Task earnings = 6 + 3 = 9$
  • Maximum earnings possible (including bonus) = 12 $
There are wait times while your partner joins or while your partner writes. All wait times will be counted as task time and will be compensation. bSo please sit tight and wait for you turn! If you consent to take part to the study, click the button below.
