Congratulations on passing the quiz! You are now in Part 2, where you will earn monetary rewards based on your decisions.
Overview
- Rounds: You will participate in 16 rounds of multi-person decision games, similar to those in Part 1.
- Role: You will always act as Player 1. All other players will be computer-controlled, following decision rules as described in Part 1.
- Information: Both you and the computer players will be given the Payoff Tables for all players, ensuring everyone has the same information. Decisions must be made simultaneously. You will not know the computer players' choices before making your own, and outcomes of each game will be revealed after the experiment.
How to Play?
- Making decision: Select one option based on the Payoff Tables in each round. The numbers in the Payoff Tables indicate points you can earn in that round. You can skip any round, with a Payoff of 1 point.
- Payment: 4 out of the 16 rounds will be randomly selected for your bonus payment, the Payoff in the selected round will be added and converted into pounds at a rate of £0.25 per point.(e.g., earning 10, 8, and 5 points in the selected 3 rounds out of 16 rounds, results in £5.75) Since you don't know which games count for money until the end, try your best in every round!
- Time to Decide: You need to spend at least 30 seconds (the "Next" button will not show up until 30s) and at most 3 minutes (180 seconds) to make the decision in each round. A timer on the top right screen will show you how much time is left. When the time runs out (180 seconds), you will jump to next round and earns no point for this round.
