You have been invited to take part in a research study run by researchers at the University of Warwick. This study has been approved by the University of Warwick’s Humanities and Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee (HSSREC).

The study is an online experiment in which you will be asked to compare your performance with that of others. This study will ask you to perform few simple tasks, read some information and answer several questions. You should answer each question honestly and to the best of your ability.

For your participation in this experiment, you will receive $0.40 plus the additional amount that you earn from the different parts of the experiment, depending on your performance.

Commitments and privacy policy
There will be no deception during the course of the experiment. Further, if the participant is promised a certain payment, they will indeed receive it.

Your participation in this study is purely voluntary, and you may withdraw your participation at any time before you submit your answers without any penalty to you.
