Thank you for agreeing to participate in our experiment.
The experiment in which you will take part will consist of 6 rounds. In each round, participants will be matched in pairs. At the beginning of the experiment, you will be assigned one of two roles. In this experiment there are two roles for players:
- Player 1: receives a certain initial monetary endowment at the beginning of each round. Player 1 decides on amount of money from his or her initial endowment which he or she wants to keep for him- or herself. Amount which will not be kept by Player 1 will be transferred to Player 2.
- Player 2: is passive. He or she is not receiving any initial endowment. He or she can however receive a transfer from Player's 1 initial endowment.
The endowment which you receive in every round is not transferable between rounds. In each of rounds Player 1 receives new initial endowment and is informed about its amount. Results of subsequent rounds are therefore independent from each other.
At the end of experiment one round will be randomly chosen. Results acheived in that round will be paid in PLN to participants.
For today's experiment, participants were recruited in pairs formed by family members. This means that a person matched with you may be your family member or a stranger. Although your decisions are anonymous, thanks to the individualised links sent to participants, we are able to verify the relationship between articipants.
In each round, we will also remind you whether you are Player 1 or Player 2. You will also learn a type of player paired with you

Na początku każdej rundy przypisana zostanie {% if player.gender == 0 %} Panu{% else %} Pani{% endif%} jedna z dwóch ról.
W każdej rundzie istnieją dwie role, jakie pełnią gracze:
- Gracz Decydujący: otrzymuje na początku każdej rundy pewną kwotę pieniędzy Gracz Decydujący określa ile z tej kwoty chce zatrzymać dla siebie. Kwota, której Gracz Decydujący nie zdecyduje się zatrzymać dla siebie, zostanie przekazana Graczowi Odbierającemu.
- Gracz Odbierający: pełni rolę pasywną. Nie otrzymuje na początku rundy żadnych pieniędzy. Może jednak otrzymać pieniądze, jeśli Gracz Decydujący przekaże mu jakąś kwotę.
Oznacza to, iż w każdej rundzie całość dochodu Gracza Odbierającego jest uzależniona od decyzji Gracza Decydującego.Kwota którą otrzyma {% if player.gender == 0 %} Pan{% else %} Pani{% endif%} w każdej z rund, nie przechodzi na kolejne rundy. W każdej z rund Gracz Decydujący otrzymuje nowy zasób gwarantowany i informowany jest o jego wysokości. Wyniki osiągnięte w poszczególnych rundach są zatem niezależne od siebie.
Na koniec eksperymentu wylosowana zostanie jedna runda. Wyniki w niej uzyskane zostaną wypłacone uczestnikom w formie przelewu bankowego.
