<p><strong><u>Multilateral Distribution Task</u></strong>

    <p>
    For the following task you will be placed in a group with three other subjects.
    This group will remain the same for the rest of the task. You have been assigned the role of sender.
    You will stay in this role for the remainder of the task. There will be two other senders, yourself,
    and a distributor who will make decisions which will determine each subject’s final payout.
    Each sender, including yourself, will be notified at the start of the of the multilateral distribution
    task how much points the distributor sent to their partner in the bilateral distribution task.
    The identity of the distributor will remain anonymous and you will only know this
    value for the distributor in your group.
    </p>

    <p>

    The following multilateral distribution rounds will be structured as follows:

    <ul>
    <li>Each sender will begin the round with 100 points. They will each independently
        decide how many of the points to send to you.
        You begin the round with zero points. </li>
    <li>You will receive triple the summation of the points sent by each sender.
        For example, if each sender sends 2 points to you, you will receive 18 points. The summation of the
        sent points is 6 and 6x3 = 18. </li>
    <li>You will decide how much of the tripled sum of sent points you would like to keep.
        You will then redistribute the remaining points available to you between the three senders. You
        redistribute to each sender and how many points you would like to keep.
         </li>
    <li>All senders will be notified of the amount of points redistributed to them.
        They do not know the amount kept by the distributor,
        nor the amount of points redistributed to the other senders. </li>
    <li>The round will end and a new round will begin. </li>
    <li>When all the rounds are completed you will complete a post-experiment survey of two questions and payment
        will be processed. </li>
</ul>
    </p>
<p><strong><u>Earnings</u></strong></p>
The amount that you earn will depend on the decisions you make and a random draw.
You will be paid for each of the four parts as follows:
<ul>
    <li>Your take-home earnings will be from one randomly selected round in this game.
        The actual earnings from this round will be converted at a ratio of 20 points to $1 USD.</li>
</ul>

        if each sender allocates 2 points to the distributor, 6 total points were allocated from the senders,
        this number is tripled so the distributor will receive 18 points. </li>
    <li>The distributor will decide how much of your total available points to redistribute to each sender and
        how many points the distributor would like to keep. All of the distributor’s endowment must be kept or
        redistributed but there is no other restriction on the token distribution.  </li>
    <li>All senders will be notified of the amount of points redistributed to them.
        They do not know the amount kept by the distributor,
        nor the amount of points redistributed to the other senders.  </li>
    <li>The round will end and a new round will begin. </li>
    <li>When all the rounds are completed you will complete a post-experiment survey of two questions and payment
