Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and Amber Heard explosive arguments and bitter insults has been revealed in recordings which have been submitted to the High Court as part of his libel case against News Group Newspapers

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's explosive arguments have been laid bare in bombshell recordings which were presented in court today.

The actor, 57, and his ex-wife, 32, both headed to London's High Court today as his libel case against News Group Newspapers kicked off.

Depp is suing NGN over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a 'wife beater' - a claim which he denies.

Today in court, Depp began giving testimony and his witness statement was presented to the court.

As part of the evidence, Depp's legal team has turned over a series of recording of arguments between the former couple during their marriage.

Depp's lawyer David Sherborne read an extract from a tape made in 2015, in which Amber seemingly admitted to hitting her husband.

Heard said: 'You didn’t get punch[ed], you got hit... But I did not punch you. I did not f*****g deck you. I f*****g was hitting you.'

In another extract read to the court, Heard told Depp: You are a f*****g baby' and the actor replied:'Because you start physical fights.'

Heard then said: 'You are such a baby. Grow the f**k up.'

Another recording made in 2016, revealed an argument the couple had over Heard's plans to attend the Coachella music festival.

In the tape, which was detailed in the opening arguments presented to the court,

Depp tells Heard: 'I didn’t want you to f*****g go to Coachella without f*****g talking to me because I left you because you were f*****g...

'You f*****g hay-makered me, man. You came around the bed to start f*****g start punching on me.

A recording made by Heard after their 2016 split was also included in the opening arguments.

The court heard it was made when the pair met up in a San Francisco hotel room after Heard had filed for divorce.

In the recording, Heard repeatedly begs Depp to “hug” her and he refuses. He then tells her: 'After all the s**t you f******g accused me of, now you want to touch me?'

The pair married in 2015, but split a year later in 2016.

Depp vehemently denies he was ever violent towards his ex-wife, who is expected to take the stand during the case to give her own evidence.

The case continues.
