As the jury deliberates in the defamation trial brought by Johnny Depp against his ex-wife Amber Heard, some fans of the actor have shown their support

As the jury deliberates in the $50million defamation trial between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard, a huge ship has 'docked' outside the Fairfax County Courthouse in Virginia.

The 58-year-old Hollywood actor has starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and it would have been a pleasing sight for Depp to see the tribute to him being parked outside the court.

Depp has taken Heard to court for libel, alleging that an op-ed article she wrote for the Washington Post about domestic abuse was about him, despite it not directly mentioning him.

Heard has counter-sued for $100million, alleging that Depp has defamed her with his claims.

After over five weeks of testimonies, the jury now have to unanimously decide which way the case should go and in the mean time, Depp has been taking his mind off matters by heading to the UK to play on stage with Jeff Beck.

The jurors have been reminded about the matters in hand by the huge model of a ship that seems to have been made over a camper van and parked on the road, tied to the back of a low loader trailer.

There was a Jack Sparrow banner on the side of the vessel, showing the character that Depp famously played.

The ship also had a mannequin pirate on the front, seemingly manning a cannon as thoughts of a rough ride ahead for Depp springs to mind.

Unfortunately for the talented creators of the vessel, Depp most likely missed seeing it for real after he spent much of his time away from court in the UK.

Depp appeared on stage in Sheffield and then at the Royal Albert Hall in London, as he performed a John Lennon cover with Jeff Beck.
