In this task, each participant is a member of a {{ session.subgroup_size }}-person group. There are two types of groups, X and Y. Each Group X will be paired with a Group Y. You will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups, Group X or Group Y.

Each participant is endowed with {{ session.token_per_round }} tokens. Tokens can be contributed to the pools listed below.

Each member of your own group, as well as those in the other group, has the same decisions to make.

All tokens endowed to you must be contributed. They can be contributed to just one pool. They can also be split and contributed to multiple pools. Contributions must be whole numbers.

After completing this study, you will be matched with others who likewise made their own contribution decisions (for example, if you are assigned to Group X, you will be matched with {{ n_group_mates }} other participants who are also assigned to Group X, and {{ session.subgroup_size }} participants assigned to Group Y). The contribution decisions of these {{ session.group_size }} participants will determine how many tokens each of them will receive. Each participant will receive {{ session.base_token }} on top of it.

Your bonus payment is determined based on the number of tokens you end up with in this task. {{ session.token_to_money }} tokens are worth 1 {{ session.currency_name }}. 1 out of each {{ session.lottery }} participants will be randomly selected to receive their bonus payment via Prolific.
