Part II

Notice: you have a 10% chance of winning an extra compensation from the decisions in this part. (You will only know your compensation after the whole study is completed.)

In Part II, you will be asked to answer 10 decision problems appearing on your screen: Decision 1 to Decision 10.

In each decision problem, there are two alternatives, Option A or Option B, for you to choose from. You must choose one alternative in each problem.

Option A and Option B in each problem will present two possible payoffs, corresponding to different outcomes of a die roll. The following table lists the contents of the two alternatives for Decisions 1–10:

Your compensation in Part II will be determined in the following manner. First, the computer will randomly and uniformly select one decision problem from Decision 1 to Decision 10. Then, the computer will draw a prize according to your choice in this decision.

For example, if the computer selects Decision 8, and you choose Option B in Decision 8, then you have a 8/10 chance of winning ${{ Constants.HL_B1 }} and a 2/10 chance of winning ${{ Constants.HL_B2 }}. The computer will then draw the prize based on this probability distribution.
