A room assignment problem consists of assigning guests to rooms. In this task, you will be asked to assign 8 guests to 8 single rooms.

Each guest has some preferences regarding the room in which they sleep , and the room they will be assigned to will have an impact on their satisfaction. In addition, a few guests have preferences regarding who their neighbours are. For these guests, being in a room next to their preferred neighbour will have a significant impact on their satisfaction.

Your guests will stay for 10 nights. For each night, you will have to choose a room assignment for the guests. You will then be informed about the satisfaction of the group for this particular assignment. Your goal is to maximize the total satisfaction of your guests over the 10 nights. You will receive a bonus payment that depends on your cumulated score over the nights.

You don't have any time limit for completing the 10 trials.

The guests are represented by letters from A to H. You can move them in rooms using the drag-and-drop interface.
