Recall that Buyers earn points by bidding to “win” a share worth 50% of the asset’s final value.

Owners earn points based on the asset’s final value. That is, 50% of the asset’s final value is paid directly to the Owner. As a result, regardless of how much Buyers bid on the assets, Owners earn more points as the assets’ final values increase.

Owners also earn 5 points if their prediction is within a margin of error equivalent to the possible range for the Random Factor. In other words, if an Owner’s prediction is within 50 points of the actual change in the asset’s value (in either direction), then s/he will receive an additional 5 points.
