You have been assigned to the role of a Buyer. Specifically, you are {{player.Initial_Role_2}}.

Recall that Owners perform two jobs:
(1) Owners make a choice that will influence their asset’s final value. This choice influences how much the asset’s value will increase or decrease from its initial value of {{C.BEGINNING_ASSET_VALUE}} points.
(2) Owners also make a prediction about how much the asset’s value will increase or decrease from the initial value of {{C.BEGINNING_ASSET_VALUE}} points.

After all three Owners have performed their two jobs, you and the other Buyers will view each Owner’s prediction of the change in his/her asset’s final value.

You and the other Buyers will also view accuracy information about Owner’s prior predictions. This information will give you an idea whether, in past rounds, Owners’ predictions have turned out to be reliable forecasts of how much asset value actually changed, and whether Owners typically overestimate or underestimate the actual change in value.

Because shares are worth 50% of each asset’s final value, you and the other Buyers may bid anywhere from 0 points to 150 points on each of the three assets. The Buyer with the highest bid on each asset will receive 50% of the asset’s final value minus the amount of the bid.

Finally, recall that Owners earn points based on the amount of the asset’s final value. Regardless of how much you and the other Buyers bid on the assets, Owners earn more points if their assets end up with higher final values.
