Stage 4
{{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

At the beginning of this stage, player L will decide which type of transcription assignments (easy/hard) the paired player F will work on. As in Stage 3, there will be five rounds, and each round will last for 60 seconds.

In each round, after player F finishes the transcription assignments, player L will rate the difficulty of each assignment attempted by F (with a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 = extremely easy and 5 = extremely difficult) in each round.

At the end of round 1 and round 3, player L will receive a performance report of the paired player F. The round 1 report will summarize player F's performance in round 1, while the round 3 report will summarize player F's performance in round 2 & round 3. The performance report will include the transcription entered for each assignment, the solution for the assignments attempted, number of correctly transcribed letters for each assignment, and the time spent on each assignment.

After reading the report, player L may send feedback to player F, which will be chosen from a grid box. Then the paired player F are given enough time to read the message.

The player F will not receive any other feedback on their performance until the end of stage 4.

If the easy transcription task is assigned

Player F will receive 1 ECU for each letter transcribed correctly. A bonus of 10 ECUs will be assigned for each string the player transcribes “fully correctly.”

If the hard transcription task is assigned

Player F will receive 1 ECU for each letter transcribed correctly. A bonus of 24 ECUs will be assigned for each string the player transcribes “fully correctly.”

A player L’s payoff for each round is equal to payoff earned by the paired player F.
