Stage III
{{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

For five rounds, the role F player will work on easy transcription assignments (6 Greek letters), each will last 60 seconds.

In each round, after the role F player finishes the transcription assignments, the role L player will rate the difficulty of each assignment done by role F (with a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 = extremely easy and 5 = extremely difficult) in each round.

At the end of round 1 and round 3, the role L player will receive a performance report of the paired role F player. The round 1 report will summarize role F player's performance in round 1, while the round 3 report will summarize role F player's performance in round 2 & round 3. The performance report will include the transcription entered for each assignment, the solution for the assignments attempted, number of correctly transcribed letters for each assignment, and the time spent on each assignment.

After reading the report, the role L player may send feedback to the role F player, which will be chosen from a grid box. Then the paired role F player are given enough time to read the message.

Role F player will not receive any other feedback on their performance until the end of the Part II (after stage IV).

Note that at the end of round 5, the role L player will also receive a performance report of round 4 & round5, while there is no feedback anymore.

Payment in Stage III

A role F player will be paid based on the accuracy of transcription.

For each easy assignment, he/she will receive 1 ECU for each letter transcribed correctly. He/she will also receive a bonus of 10 ECUs for each string the player transcribes “fully correctly.” A transcription is “fully correct” if and only if the input perfectly matches the string in the image.

A role L player’s payoff for each round will equal to payoff earned by the role F player.
