<p>Welcome!</p>
<p> The Data Analytics Group of the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich
    is conducting an experiment in cooperation with the Honda Research Institute EU and
    asks for your participation. The Study is coordinated by Laura Salathe and supervised by PhD student Leonore Röseler and Professor Dr. Ingo Scholtes.</p>

<p>In this experiment you will be grouped in teams and asked to identify the location where images were taken around the world. Depending on your team
performance and your contribution, you can earn a bonus payment.
</p>

<p><b>Duration:</b><br>
The experiment takes about 50 minutes to complete. Please note that the active survey session closes 123 minutes after starting it.</p>

<p><b>Payment:</b><br>
You receive a participation fee of 5£ if you complete the experiment. Depending on your performance you can earn an additional maximal bonus of 3£.
<p>

<p><b>Voluntariness:</b><br>
The participation in the experiment is voluntary. Please note that you can withdraw your participation at any given time during the experiment and up to 7 days after finishing the experiment.</p>

<p><b>Possibility to withdraw data:</b><br>
If you want to withdraw your data after finishing the experiment, please contact Laura Salathe: laura.salathe@uzh.ch<br>
To delete your data from our sample, we will need your Prolific ID. As the data will be decoupled from the Prolific IDs after
7 days, withdrawal won't be possible anymore after this time point. </p>


<p><b>Requirements:</b><br>
To qualify for participation and to receive the payment, the following requirements need to be met:</p>
<ol>
  <li> To participate, you need a desktop computer with an external computer mouse. Participation on mobile devices is not possible. </li>
  <li> The study is carried out in English. Therefore, you should have a good understanding of the language (reading). </li>
  <li> To receive payment, the survey needs to be completed entirely. To test your attention, there are two tasks, for which the correct geolocation is shown in the image as text. You will need to give the correct solution (which is indicated as text in the images) in at least one of the two attention rounds to receive the payment.</li>
  <li> Please note that you can only participate once in this experiment. Repeated participation will not be considered for payment. </li>
</ol>


<p><b>Confidentiality and Anonymity:</b><br>
The collected information will only be used for research purposes. For data security reasons the Prolific IDs will be decoupled from the rest of the data after 7 days.</p>

<p><b>Data Protection:</b><br>
The collecting, processing, and storing of data will be made in compliance with cantonal and federal regulations of Switzerland. The study has been approved by the review board of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich.</p>
