        <p class="instruction-paragraph">
            We will use <span class="highlight">lab dollars</span> as the unit of payment during the experiment.
            <span class="highlight">One lab dollar = $0.005 CAD (Half cent)</span>.
        </p>

        <p class="instruction-paragraph">
            For each string you complete during the <span class="highlight">first 10-minute work shift</span>,
            you will earn <span class="highlight">20 lab dollars</span>.
        </p>

        <p class="instruction-paragraph">
            If, at any point during the 10-minute work shift, you would like to stop working on the task,
            you may press the <span class="highlight">Start Break</span> button and use the internet.
            Any time remaining in your work shift when you press the Start Break button will be added to your
            <span class="highlight">8-minute break</span>.
        </p>

        <p class="instruction-paragraph">
            In addition, each second remaining in your work shift when you press the
            <span class="highlight">Start Break</span> button is worth <span class="highlight">1 lab dollar</span>.
        </p>

            Your earnings from this work shift are calculated as follows:<br><br>
            Number of completed strings × 20 + seconds remaining when you press “Start Break” = Your Earnings

            To switch from the experiment tab to a standard web browser, press
            <span class="highlight">Alt + Tab</span> at the same time.
            You can switch back by pressing <span class="highlight">Alt + Tab</span> again.
