The experiment is divided between two phases, each of which lasts for 10 rounds. Each subject is randomly assigned one of two roles: Player1, or Player2. Your role will remain fixed for the entire duration of the experiment, as the roles of other players will. At the beginning of the experiment, you will be randomly and anonymously matched with another student. One of the two of you will play in the role of Player1, and the other one in the role of Player2. You will not know your role until the game starts. Your partner will not change for the duration of the experiment. The entire game has 20 periods.
Payment: In each period of the game, you will be given a task. The computer will record your performance in this task in each round. At the end of the experiment, the computer will randomly select only one period of the game to determine your final earnings.
In this game you will be asked to predict the choice of another participant that has already played a different game. We will call this participant Player0. In order to correctly understand Player0's decision process, you will read the description of the game that Player0 played, and which task Player0 was assigned to.
