{{ block title }}PART 2: Decision-making game{{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

In this experiment, you will be asked to play a continuation game. By playing the game multiple (eight) times, you are able to learn about the game and possibly change your decision strategy. Each game comprises up to 30 rounds, which will be less if you decide to exit earlier.

You will make exit decisions for a for-profit enterprise. As the owner of the firm, you are responsible for deciding whether to continue or terminate the venture.

The primary goal of your company is to maximize the terminal value that is the sum of your incomes from all rounds you play. For example, suppose you earn $10 in Round 1, 0 in Round 2, -$5 in Round 3, and decide to exit in Round 4. If the exit cost is $10, then your terminal value is $(10+0-5)-$10 = -$5. If the terminal value of your business is smaller than -$100 before exit costs are deducted, the company goes bankrupt.

You can proceed to the next screen after 60 seconds.
