Thank you for participating in this experiment.
This experiment simulates a situation in which two countries have entered into an agreement. This agreement demands that both countries make a contribution to a joint project. One of these two countries is able to make a transfer to the other country as an incentive to make a contribution.
You are asked to make at least 1 decision and depending on your role in the game, you may have to make a second decision. Each one affects the bonus payment you can earn in this part of the study. They do not affect the fixed payment you receive for participating.

Every point you earn in this experiment translates to a bonus payment of 20¢.
This experiment is about strategic decision-making. It is important that you not only carefully consider your own decisions but also keep in mind your opponent‘s actions and the effect they have on you.
