You will participate in several economic tasks called "behavioral games" over the next few minutes.

This game is played by pairs of individuals. Each pair is made up of a Player A and a Player B.

You will play this game twice and you will receive some demographic information on each partner, but you will not find out who this person is, nor will he or she find out who you are.

Game Steps:

1. At the start of each round, Player A receives {{ C.ENDOWMENT }}; Player B receives 0 points.

2. Player A then decides how many of the {{ C.ENDOWMENT }} they would like to offer to Player B. Player A could give some, all, or none of the {{ C.ENDOWMENT }}.

3. Before Player B receives this amount, it will be multiplied by {{ C.MULTIPLICATION_FACTOR }}.

4. Once Player B receives the tripled amount, they then have the option of returning any portion of this tripled amount back to Player A.

Payment:

1. Player A receives whatever he or she kept from their original 10 points, plus anything returned to them by Player B in each round.

2. Player B receives whatever was given to him or her by Player A and then tripled minus whatever they returned back to Player A.

Each point is worth 40 cents so the more points you obtain, the more money you will make.
