    <br/>This is a study funded by the University of Birmingham, UK.
</p>

    <br/>The study consists of two parts. You are now taking part to the first part. The second part will take place one week from now. The entire study should take no longer than <b>20 minutes</b>. Please make sure that you have that
    time at your disposal.
</p>

    <br/>The study is designed to understand how people form opinions and make decisions. You must be at least 18 years
    old to participate in this study.
</p>

    <br/>Your responses will be kept anonymous and confidential.
</p>

<p>
    <br/>You will be paid a guaranteed <b>$2.50</b> for your participation but only if you complete <b>both</b> parts of the study.
    Depending on your decisions in the study, you might also earn an additional bonus amount. You will be given further
    instructions on how you can earn extra money.
</p>

    <br/>Your participation is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time during the session. However,
    if you withdraw, you will not receive any payments from the study.
</p>

    <br/> There will be 2 attention check questions. If your answers to <b>one or both</b> the attention
    check questions are incorrect, then your submission will be rejected.
</p>
