This is an academic study led by Dr. Kinneret Teodorescu from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, in which we examine how people make decisions.

There are no risks involved with participation in this study. The data collected will be used for research purposes only. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time. However, if you decide to terminate your participation before the end of the study, you will not be compensated. We will not analyze any information that can identify you personally, and any information you provide will remain anonymous and will be reported only on the aggregated level.

The study takes about 20 minutes, depending on your response time. If you complete the entire task without breaks, you will receive a compensation as stated in the invitation. In addition, there is an opportunity to get a BONUS of up to £2, depending on your performance. The basic task includes many rounds in which you will be asked to try and predict the outcome of a virtual die. The instructions for the task, and the rules for the bonus payment will appear on the following screens. Read them carefully and make sure you understand the rules of the task. Among other things, your bonus payment will depend on your understanding of these instructions.

Important! To get the Prolific completion code, as well as your base payment and bonus, you will have to complete the task without breaks. In case of lengthy idle time, the task will automatically stop, and you will not be able to take it again. This task cannot be taken from a mobile device.
