Debrief

This study replicates Niederle & Vesterlund (2007), "Do Women Shy Away from Competition? Do Men Compete Too Much?" published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics. The original study found that women were less likely than men to choose the tournament payment scheme, even after controlling for performance.
