We would like to invite you to take part in a research study investigating the impact of the environment on human behaviour.

The environment can affect the behaviour of both men and women in various ways, but this process is not accurately understood. Therefore, we have developed an economic games experiment which will be used in combination with a questionnaire to assess the effects of the environment on peoples’ behaviour.

In this study, we would like to get a better current understanding of peoples’ attitudes and behaviour from different areas in the UK, by first asking participants some questions about themselves and the first 3 letters of their postcode to determine the rough area of where they live in the UK. After, we will ask participants to play an anonymous two-player economic game and then complete an anonymous questionnaire.

Your participation is entirely voluntary. You can stop the study at any time without giving a reason. Completing the entire study will take approximately 20 minutes.

You will be reimbursed for your time with a £5 amazon gift voucher and an additional maximum of £10 from the economic games experiment, dependent on your final score.

All study experimental and survey responses are anonymous, and it will not be possible to identify you from your answers. The Participant Information Sheet tells you more about this.
