For better explanation of calculation of the bonus amount we will provide several examples. Please read the examples carefully.

Example 1: Assume that each member of the group has contributed 0 tokens to the project. Nobody will receive anything from the project, because nobody has contributed anything. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 20 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (20 – 0) + 0.4 x (0) = 20 points.
Example 2: Assume that you contribute 0 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 10 tokens in total. As you and the other members of the group have contributed 10 tokens in total, everybody will receive 0.4 x 10 = 4 points from the project. You have contributed 0 tokens for the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 24 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (20 – 0) + 0.4 x (10) = 24 points.
Example 3: Assume that you contribute 15 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 5 tokens in total. As you and the other member have together contributed 20 tokens, everyone will receive 0.4 x 20 = 8 points from the project. You contributed 15 tokens to the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 13 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (20 – 15) + 0.4 x (20) = 13 points
Example 4: Assume that you contribute 20 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 0 tokens in total. As you and the other members of the group have contributed 20 tokens in total, everybody will receive 0.4 x 20 = 8 points from the project. You have contributed 20 tokens for the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 8 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (20 – 20) + 0.4 x (20) = 8 points.

As you and the other members of the group have contributed 10 tokens in total, everybody will receive 0,4 x 10 = 4 points from the project. You have contributed 0 tokens for the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 14 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (10 – 0) + 0.4 x (10) = 14 points
Example 3: Assume that you contribute 5 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 25 tokens in total. As you and the other member have together contributed 30 tokens, everyone will receive 0.4 x 30 = 12 points from the project. You contributed 5 tokens to the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 17 points in total.
Calculation of your bonus amount: (10 – 5) + 0.4 x (30) = 17 points
Example 4: Assume that you contribute 10 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 0 tokens in total. As you and the other members of the group have contributed 10 tokens in total, everybody will receive 0.4 x 10 = 4 points from the project. You have contributed 10 tokens for the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 4 points in total.

Example 3: Assume that you contribute 25 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 5 tokens in total. As you and the other member have together contributed 30 tokens, everyone will receive 0.4 x 30 = 12 points from the project. You contributed 25 tokens to the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 17 points in total.

Example 4: Assume that you contribute 30 tokens and the other members of the group contribute 0 tokens in total. As you and the other members of the group have contributed 30 tokens in total, everybody will receive 0.4 x 30 = 12 points from the project. You have contributed 30 tokens for the project. Therefore, at the end of the experiment, you will receive 12 points in total.
