{{ block title }} Part 2 (Experiment II) {{ endblock }} {{ block content }}

In Part 2, participants will be randomly and anonymously re-paired with another participant, which means that the participant you are matched with will be different from the one you were paired with in Part 1. The computer will then randomize your role within the group, designating one participant as the Proposer and the other as the Responder.

The Proposer in this part is tasked with allocating the total endowment between himself/herself and the Responder. The total endowment for distribution is equivalent to the sum of the points earned by both the Proposer and the Responder in Part 1, amounting to a total of 10 points.

Initially, the Proposer determines the allocation of X points to the Responder. Subsequently, the Responder observes the number of points the Proposer has assigned and must make a decision to either "Accept" or "Reject". If the Responder accepts, they will receive X points as profit, while the Proposer will gain 10-X points. Conversely, if the Responder rejects, both the Proposer and the Responder will receive zero profit in Part 2.
