        At the end of the session, one of the images will be selected at random to determine your bonus payment. 
        The payment rule for the randomly selected image is designed so that you maximize your overall probability of

        Although every image is equally likely to be selected, 
        <b>the possible bonus payment amount varies depending on the image chosen</b>.

        How You'll Receive Your Bonus Payment

        On this survey, you will see your earnings in points.

        to ensure your probability of winning the bonus prize is equal to the number 
        of points earned, we are utilizing a timer device. You will be shown a 
        timer that uses your computer systesm clock, in milliseconds. 
        You will get one chance to stop this timer. The number of milliseconds 
        in one's and ten's will be a number between 0 and 99. If your earnings 
        in points is strictly greater than this number, you will then earn $8.

        Note that it is essentially impossible to stop a clock in milliseconds 
        with any degree of accuracy, so the number generated by the timer game 
        is random for all practical purposes.
