Thank you for your attention. This research is being conducted by researchers at the University of Southern California. By participating in the study, you understand and agree that University of Southern California may be required to disclose your consent form, data and other personally identifiable information as required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order. Otherwise, your confidentiality will be maintained in the following manner:By participating, you understand and agree that the data and information gathered during this study may be used by University of Southern California and published and/or disclosed by University of Southern California to others outside of University of Southern California. However, your name, address, contact information and other direct personal identifiers in your consent form will not be mentioned in any such publication or dissemination of the research data and/or results by University of Southern California.The researchers will take the following steps to protect participants’ identities during this study: (1) Each participant will be assigned a number; (2) The researchers will recode and record any data collected during the study by number; (3) Any original recordings or data files will be stored in a secured location accessed only by authorized researchers.

If you decide not to participate in this research, you may stop participating at any time by closing the browser window. If you decide not to participate in this study or if you stop participating at any time, you will not be penalized.

The risks from this study are minimal. Please note that, because the survey responses are transmitted and stored online, we cannot guarantee the security of your responses. Any potential loss of confidentiality will be minimized by storing data in a password protected server and in password protected computers.

There are no direct benefits from participating in this research. We hope that, in the future, other people might benefit from this study through improved understanding of the nature of people`s acceptance towards Artificial Intelligence (AI).
