<p><b>Thank you for your willingness to participate in the study. Participation is
        entirely voluntary. This screen shows the consent form for this study. The study
        starts on the next screen.</b></p>
<p><b>What happens in this study:</b></p>
<p>In this study you will work on a task in which you set up and submit reports. Your task is to submit truthful
    reports. Depending on your decisions or the decisions of other participants you can earn a bonus payment in the
    working task. Please read the description carefully. We will then ask you a few comprehension questions and you will
    have two opportunities to get the questions correct. <b>If you are not successful, you will be asked to leave the
        study prematurely.</b> We will also ask you questions on your demographics and
    attitudes towards certain
    subjects.
    Answers to
    these questions are not mandatory to complete the study but we ask you to answer them truthfully. The complete study
    should take no longer than 30 minutes. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw from
    participation at
    any time during the experiment/survey, without providing any reasons. In order to use your data for research,
    however, it is important for us that you complete the entire experiment and
    survey.</p>
<p><b>What happens to the collected data:</b></p>
<p>Your answers will be pseudonymised, using your Prolific ID. They will then be stored anonymously under a consecutive
    number depending on the time you entered the survey. This means none of your data can be traced back to you. Hence,
    in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we opt for the safest option to protect your privacy.
    Once we anonymize your data, we will not be able to trace it back to your Prolific ID. If you feel the need to
    revoke your consent to participate in this study, please contact us directly (see below). The anonymized dataset may
    be made accessible to other researchers on an Open Science Platform at some point. Aggregated results of this study
    will be published in scientific journals.</p>
