<h3>Instructions - Summary</h3>

<p style="color: red;">If you have any doubts about the instructions, this is the last chance to check them. Before starting the experiment, you will have to answer a quiz to check your understanding of the instructions. </p>
There will be a total of <b> 5 tasks. </b> For each task there will be <b> two parts. </b> <br><br>

<h3>Part 1 </h3>
<ul>
  <li> Each task corresponds to a different <em>machine</em>, which generates about <b>27 trials</b>. In Part 1 we will show you the realizations.</li>

  <li>A machine has lights of multiple colors, including always one <span style="color:red;">red</span>, one <span style="color:blue;">blue</span>, and one <span style="color:green;">green</span> light. In every independent trial:
    <ul>
      <li>You can see if the <span style="color:red;">red</span> light is on or off;</li>
      <li>You can see if the <span style="color:blue;">blue</span> light is on or off;</li>
      <li>You can see if the <span style="color:green;">green</span> light is on or off;</li>
      <li>The trial does not provide information for lights that cannot be observed, which could be on or off. </li>
      <li> The machine either makes a sound or doesn't make a sound.</li>
    </ul>

  <li>The lights and sounds may or may not be related. Even when a connection exists, the same light configuration (e.g. red on, blue off, and green on) may not perfectly lead to the same sound in different trials because some unobserved lights might also affect the sound.</li>

<li><b>Your task in Part 1</b> is to learn a relationship between the lights and the sound to make predictions about the sound in Part 2.</li>

<li><b>In Part 2 you will not have access to the data</b>, but you will be able to access your notes to make predictions. Make sure you take summary notes (at most 75 characters), which will be available in Part 2.</li>

<li>You have maximum {{ C.MACHINE_TIMEOUT_MINUTES }} minutes to observe data and take notes before making predictions.</li></ul>

<h3>Part 2</h3>

  <li>In Part 2 you will face 16 trials with different light configurations.</li>
  <li><b> Your task</b> is to make a prediction about the sound for each trial</li>
 <li>In <b>this example</b> you will only observe <b>1 trial</b></li>

<h3>Payment</h3>


  <li> Each task corresponds to a different <em>machine</em>. For payment, one task and one of your predictions will be randomly selected. If your prediction is correct, we will add <b>{{ C.CURRENCY }}{{ C.PAYMENT_PER_CORRECT_DISPLAY }}</b> to your payoffs.</li>
